Young People Choir 

    St. Mary Church Young People Choir is open to any young people in the parish (PSR or St. Mary School) grades 3 and up.  St. Mary School students meet during the school year on Wednesdays after school from 2:15 - 3:15.  Quietly meet in the Hall outside the Principals Office, Marian Building and Mr. Moore will walk you over to the church.  Parents can pick up students in the Church at 3:15.  Mr. Moore will walk any Extended Day students back over to the Marian Building when rehearsal is finished.  This year I am scheduling a rehearsal for PSR students from 3:30 - 4:30 to accomodate their  later dismissal time from school.  Both rehearsals will be open to either students from SMS or PSR (grades 3 and up) and will be identical.  It is hoped that this will enable more students to take advantage of our YPC.   

We lead our assembly in sung prayer at the 11:00 AM Mass each weekend and for for other liturgies as scheduled throughout the year.  It is a fun time together and a great way to foster a love for our liturgy and strengthen your faith.  Many young people go off to high school and college and have a life-long love for singing based on this experience early in their lives.
